Suicidal Thoughts

Support for Suicidal Thoughts

A place to talk honestly about suicidal thoughts, with care and without alarm.

Having thoughts of suicide doesn't automatically mean immediate danger, and it's more common than most people assume — but it's also not something to carry alone or minimise. Therapy offers a space to talk about these thoughts directly, without the conversation shutting down or becoming a crisis response in itself.

This work looks at what's underneath the thoughts — what's become unbearable, and what might make it more bearable — at a pace that keeps your safety as the first priority throughout.

This is an area I take seriously in my clinical background, too — my experience across a variety of psychiatric inpatient facilities has meant learning to balance practical safeguarding and risk management with genuine space to explore and process painful material, rather than letting one crowd out the other.

This page is for ongoing, non-emergency support. Sessions available in person in Cork, or online worldwide.
