In-Person: Cork · Online: Worldwide
Individual psychotherapy and counselling working through depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, addiction and more — in a confidential room, or from wherever you are.
Every session starts from where you actually are — not a script. A few of the areas people most often bring into the room:
I'm Niall O'Sullivan, a BACP-registered psychotherapist holding an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Birkbeck, University of London. I work with individual adults in person in Cork, and online with clients worldwide.
Therapy here isn't about being told what to do — it's a steady, confidential space to slow down and look honestly at what's difficult, so the patterns that no longer serve you have room to change.
My background includes experience across a variety of psychiatric and addiction treatment inpatient facilities, and my ongoing caseload regularly includes complex presentations such as psychosis, BPD, and dual diagnosis, alongside less outwardly severe presentations like anxiety, depression, and grief.
More about my approachMost people arrive here at the point where the old ways of coping have stopped working. That's not a failure — it's usually the beginning of something.
Alongside psychotherapy, I'm also a certified behavioural health coach. Coaching is a distinct, goal-focused relationship rather than clinical treatment — a good fit if you're looking for structured support rather than depth psychotherapeutic work.
Practical, ongoing support for people maintaining recovery from addiction, alongside or after clinical treatment.
Building systems and strategies that work with a neurodivergent mind, for work, study, or daily life.
Focused support for professionals navigating leadership, performance, or career transitions.
A no-cost conversation to check that the fit feels right — therapist, approach, and practicalities — before any paid assessment begins.
